I need to know where I can find a starter or some place that will rebuild the starter. I had this starter rebuilt once before and he said there were some parts in it he could not get and now they are the parts that are not working. For now I have to pull the tractor to start it.

ford has them, they are the same as for a ford 3000, or 5000 I think, but they have electric solonoids, if you want one with a manual, I have one or 2 that work, and I know guy/company in atlanta that has them,, the rubber boot to, if you still need one (not wanting to go to ford) respond and I will dig out the number for the guy

Thank you for the advice on the starter. I went to the Ford dealer and ask them about the starter fitting the Fordson. They said it did not cross referance to the Fordson. I took my old starter in and the starter for the Ford 3000 did match up. For anyone that wants to know the part number is DSNN1100CE Moter Starter. I was able to make this starter work by installing a Normaly open switch to operate the starter. The tractor fired up on it own for the first time in a year. Again Thank You.
