I was given a Fordson Dexta tractor. I've been told it runs well but was blowing oil everywhere, so it has been parked for a year. I don't really know what I have - the block is stamped #ZGK 1272 and right side of clutch housing is stamped 957E 7505B T4. The tractor looks alright, has all of it's parts and only slight surface rust. Have I got something that could make a good rebuild project? I see I can get a rebuild gasket set but I will need bearing size? I'm not sure what to look for or even what year this tractor is - blue paint with orange wheels. Any help would be appreciated.

I think 957E 7505B T4 is the part # for the transmision case. I have the same # on mine. The serial # is on the engine. I made the same mistake myself. Mine turned out to be a 61.

Good luck Don

Checking Oscar's Serial # Page: 957E 7505B T4 would fit in:
1961 (Jan-Oct) 957E 71921 - 312000

Have fun on the project!

I'm sorry, I must have misread my numbers some how. I was going by a four digit number "7505" instead of the five digit number 71921. My little tractor was a 59 model I think. Would someone please check me out here and make sure I'm correct on this, Serial Number 957E 26223? Thanks, Brant

From the info I've found out on my tractor yours appears to be a 1958 model.
