I have just about finished my engine rebuild and have a question regarding preping for paint. I currently have my tractor off rubber and supported with jack stands. I would like to remove the frame rails one at a time and clean them well before I paint. As long as I have the engine supported, is this possible?? If so, where is the best point to support the engine for maximum safety?

Thanks!

Suport the tractor under the sump, its cast iron so there is no probs. Remove both frames and the front x member if you want, it should be ok.
