Just a story to keep you all amused.

You may have seen the photo of my 1963 Super Major I had in New Zealand on the photo site. Well, that front end loader was fitted in a tractor wreckers just outside Palmerston North in New Zealand. We were working on my Super in the guys workshop, and we needed to remove the belt pully in order to fit the loader. We went outside to find a wrecked out tractor with a pully blank off plate. There was this poor old tractor, just a carcass lying on the ground, no wheels, no hood. It still has an engine in it. I asked the guy why he hadn't sold the engine. "Its stuffed" he said. "It had leaking sleeves and fumed like hell, so I all I salvaged was the hydraulics, wheels and tyres". He was removing the pully blank off and I was messing around. I just "happend" to push down the starter lever. This old girl was going to have the last laugh, she cranked once and started. The other guy jumped a mile. "Bugger me" he says, "She's been stood a year". The tractor just purred like a tom cat thats been let in out the rain. You just have to feel sorry for this little honey, she should have been saved. "FORDSON FARMING FOREVER".

Thats a true story.
