I'm looking to upgrade from a 9n to the 600 series. Anyone have any thoughts on these tractors? Thanks.

This address will tell you all you want to know and more. Some 600's have live hydraulics, some don't. Go to this site; it will explain all...
Enjoy..... ..

The 600 has the addition of live hydralics making it a far better machine when using items such as brush-hogs and post hole diggers. The motor is also more advanced than on the 9n.

My Dad has a 9n which I grew up on and I just purchased a 660 which I love. The 9n to 600 series is more of a leap from collector/tinkerer machine to a bit more serious version of the previous. Parts are easier to come by and it all depends on what version and shape the 600 you get. Look up "The vintage Ford tractor resource" online which has great information on the 600's. Have fun!
