Does a 901 have live hydraulics

i just wanted to know if a 961 powermaster has true live hydraulics or not

Yes indeed, your tractor does have live hydraulics, courtesy of the engine mounted pump on the RH rear of the engine block. The output from this pump goes straight to the lift cover, so the 3 point is live all the time. It is not dependent on whether or not the tractor has a remote valve mounted, as stated in the prior posting. Also, the PS (power steering) has it's own pump and is not dependent on the tractor hydraulics.

The 961 has a live hydraulic pump...on the right side of the bell housing, sort of looks like a second starter. However, it is not 'live' to the three point. If the tractor does not have a secondary hydraulic outlet valve (don't know the proper name for this unit), you won't have any live power except to the PS unit (if it has it and if it is still on there). The outlet valve for remote live hydraulics mounts under the seat into the top of the existing casting, if its not already there.
