Anyone have a source for a light (something flat and maybe red) that would fit an existing hole on the dash of my 640. I'd like to wire it in to show when the ignition switch is on.

Finally made it to Radio Shack. Yes, I found exactly what I wanted.

Thanks Soundguy, and all the others. It may sound lazy to ask for some help here, but sometimes there is to much information out there.

It seems like no matter what I'm trying to do (tractors included) there is always someone else who's been there before me.

Once again thanks people.

Couldn't pull up the picture on the website.

Think I found one at Advanced, small red led, just hope it's bright enough to catch my attention.

That light assembly is not available anymore, they call it the assembly, but all you get is the lens, not the socket or bulb. That lens is just short of a twenty dollar bill and if you need the the nut, it also is a twenty dollar.

I went to Advance Auto and bought a GM style pigtail for a couple of bucks. It is pliable plastic and I was able to trim the casing with a knife to make it push into the existing dash holes on my 4600. I believe you can get different colored bulbs that push into that pigtail, but I went with clear. If that isn't what you meant, there were also a bunch of complete indicator lamps also at Advance. I assume that any of the auto stores could help you with that (Pep Boys, Napa, etc, whatever is in your area).
