What should I expect to have to spend to buy the parts for a 3 pt. lift on my Ford 3910, I need the upper link arm, lower link arms, and the lift arms. Do I need a stabilizer bar? I only have a back blade for my tractor right now.

Thanks

Mike

Find a dealer for Tisco or A & I and you can buy the parts you need at a price that will be better than New Holland. Most dealers now will also have Tisco available, at least the dealers in my area do.

Are you sitting down? Do you have 911 on speed dial?

You should.

The last time I priced those lift arms from a dealer several years ago they were somewhere in the 1 grand vicinity EACH. Mind you these were the heavy duty arms with the extendable link ends and interchangeable balls. I'd suspect that each lift rod is going to run 1-150 each and you can only get them in the aftermarket that I'm aware of. A top link is probably about a hundred bucks for a good one. Keep in mind that this is all Category II stuff I'm talking about...
I would go that route and then install the square telescopic stabilizers from the lift arm to the rear axle rather than the old style stabilizers. That part will probably cost you about the same money and you'll actually have a useable stabilizer... I'm not sure if those were originally used on the 3 cylinder 10 series or if they were introduced on the 30 series but they will fit all the same.
The Cat I arms are light for those tractors relative to what they will lift. The light arms were generally fitted to the 2WD models while the 4WD models had the heavy arms. I'd put the heavy ones on regardless if it was mine.

You can probably look to Sparex or some other such aftermarket supplier for a better price on those parts too. Should be decent enough quality.

That depends. If you go with factory NH parts probabally be $500 to $1000 for all 3 pt parts and sway bars. If you go after market pobabally $200 to $500 for everything. best bet is to go to Central MI tractor & Parts in St. Johns, they have a big tractor salvage yard last I heard. I havn"t been there yet, plan on going when it warms up and snow melts.
