i have a 3pt that wont come down i have replaced the exhaust valve in the pump anybody have any ideas-i also replaced the pump- the used one would"nt work.I have also prayed over it that did"nt help either

somethings i just dont get-there is a valve on the left side the book says its a exhaust control valve and on the other side is a intake control valve.when i move the lever above to the top it will depress the intake valve-when i move the lever to the bottom the implement should go down it wont. i would like to thank you for replying. dave

There is no "exhaust valve". There is a conrol valve and when it moves to the rear, it ports the cylinder to the reservoir and drops the lift.

Either the control valve is not working or the cylinder is bound up and not able to move without some weight on it. If you have an impement on it does it drop? These hydraulic systems use gravity, not pump presure, to lower.

Open the side plate and WITH THE ENGINE NOT RUNNING, make sure that the control fork is on the control valve. The control valve is the "T" shaped valve in the back of the pump. If it is, then move the lift handle from the up position to the down position and make sure that the control valve is moving. When the lever is in the down position, the control valve and the attached fork, should move to the rear.

I should have asked what model of tractor you have. I gave you instructions for a Ferguson System.
