A couple of questions. My hydro pump apears to be leaking where it attaches to the rear of the engine/bell housing. How is this pump driven? Does it have a gasket under the 4 attach bolts or O rings. Is it hard to reprime after it has been removed? any other cautions? Also, where does a power steering pump mount? 1965 2110 LCG. Thank you. Richard

Richard, There's a gasket between the pump and the block.
There's engine oil pressure ported up through the gasket to the idler gear in the pump drive gear housing. Possibly engine oil pressure is escaping..

The pump should self-prime when removed. Sometimes it's necessary to remove the 3/8" pipe thread plug in the head of the pump and very carefully apply a little air pressure to the rear axle housing with a shop blow gun with a rag wrapped around it. Careful! Too much and you'll turn PTO or axle seals inside out.
