3000lbs. dry, loaded tires add 1000-1200lbs, depending on tire size. BURT

45 PTO Hp. 4000 - 5000 lbs. depending on whether tires have fluid and how many wheel weights. My dad use to pull a 861 back in the 70's and has still got the trophies. Pulling has changed though and I'm not sure about anyones success these days with a 801. I think you have more possibilities with a longer "row crop" tractor such as a 460 Farmall or a 88 Oliver. I came from a Ford family myself but when the pulling disease hit me in the 80's I went with a 460 Farmall diesel. Long wheelbase, Torque Amplifier, 6 cylinder engine, 38 inch rubber. I think these are all advantages to tractor pulling. But I think pulling is fun regardless what you have. Like they say "Pull what you bring". Have fun!
