1968 Ford 2000 rear wheel center color

I need to know the correct color for the center disk of the rear wheel on a 1968 Ford 2000, manufactured 7/30/1968. It was repainted the FORD GREY, but after stripping 2 layers of grey, there is a nice layer of blue and that seems to be the orginal color. I looked for a picture, but did not find one that convinced that it should be grey. Anybody know for sure?

Ken,

Sometime during '68 the sheet metal style changed and that would be when the wheel color would have changed. This is a picture of mine and it is original. If your decal and side vented sheet metal like mine then it is white. If yours was the new style then they were blue for a while.

Mines never been repainted and they are blue.
