I have a Ford 4000 (1963 4 cyl) that I am concerned that the 3 pt doesn't completely raise. I don't have another tractor to compare it too but, when the lift handle is in the fully raised position it doesn't seem that the lift arms are as high as they should (about 3" below bottom of fenders). Is there an adjustment or specification that tells me how high they should be?

TIA
Wayne

Wayne, it sounds like your problem may be that the cam follower pin is worn, or the lift linkage may be out of whack. In either case, if these are your problems you'll have to remove the lift cover to adjust the linkage and replace the pin. Not a bad job, but the lift cover is very heavy. Definitely just my $.02 worth. Good luck.
