Help, This tractor looks like a 2000/3000. Square nose, plastic grille,model # on hood and housing match.It says it's a model C4023C, Army tag in cab says model 621-62 date mfg.,6-1962, engine 134-G 4 cyl.Nice tractor HI-Lo range, P.S., Ind. front axel,took the cab and the front sweeper broom off today, left the front pump on as I have a nice Ford 703 loader to mount on this tractor. But what model is it ??? Thanks, Jim.

Well fellows, I hate to be dissagreable,but your tag says 134/ 4cy. I'm thinkin that 3000 were all 3 cyl, also man date of 6- 62 makes it a 2000 workmaster, IMHA, John

Jim, I'm no expert so let's see if someone comes by that will shine some more light on this. If the Army tag is wrong about the number of cylinders it could be wrong all together. I'm going to lean towards you having a 3000. There I've said it again. Sometimes posting doubtful information will get a disscussion going and that will bring out all the facts and we will learn the truth.

John IN, glad you checked in. A 4cy 3000 didn't sound right but his model number fit with the info on the Oaktree site for it to be a 3000. I'm sure you are right and appreciate you clearing it up for us.

Jim, this is the way I'd interpret your model number using the Oaktree site:
C=3000
40=Utility
2=Gas
3=Live 540 PTO
C=8 Speed Transmission

Chris, I was in the Army and while I won't say the Army never made mistakes, maybe sometimes us poor civilians have trouble understanding their ways? Try going to the link below to learn more about your tractor.

Message above should have been addressed to Jim Tillson. Sorry Chris. Maybe one day I'll learn to get all my mistakes out before I post.
