after reinstalling the hydralics on my 641 the front doser and the rear lift shakes on the upside, goes smooth on the down. could this be air in the system or some thing else. i have only done the up down 15 or 20 times, on the tractor that is.

Be sure their is no leak on the intake side of the pump.At the pump or at any point along the tube.(big one).
Did you replace the seal? This is really the most important thing in pump repair. If the pump seal is leaking it will only suck in air by the seal and will never work even if it is primed or bled.
To replace the seal the roller bearing race must be removed first before the seal will come out.The best way to get this race out of the pump is to weld a bead all the way around the race on the surface where the rollers run. This will render the race ruined. It will then come out eaisly after it has cooled to room temp.
You should also replace the Needle bearing while it is apart as it is just as important as the roller bearing.

sounds like a piece of garbage between a ball check and its seat (in the pump). Turns a 6-piston pump into a 5. I suppose it could be air, too. Either residual from having the system apart, or entering from a poor pumpshaft seal.
