After the good advice on why my tracter has no power I plan to take the carb off this weekend and check for any fuel clogs. While I have the carb off does anyone have any advice as to how to check for clogs? I don't have an air compressor to blow air thru it; however, I do have a small tire air compresser. I also plan to change the spark plugs. What should the gap settings be? Also, does this tractor take 10w 30 oil? Thanks TJ

I am in need of a carb. for an old 300 International Tracter, OR possibly a kit would do. Maybe if I tell you what it is doing you can give some tips as to what I should try!!!!! carb fills with gas but does not run nor start

I don't know much about carbs or oil but if you go to http://members.aol.com/naa60512/elect.htm it will give you most of what you need for the plugs. The info is towards the bottom of the page. Lots of good Ford stuff on this site.

Good Luck
