Looking through old posting I found this. I have a 971 SOS that is a gold model. I recently sent an inquiry to Antique Power about some specifics and posted my address in it. I recieve numerous responses on the Gold SOS story. I also recieved letters from people who currently have Gold SOS tractors. One in New York State, he has two, one in Wisconson, he knew of a couple more in that area, and one in California. The information I have is there are about 100 left of the 500 to 600 that were originally made.

I have a gold 1959 Ford 871 Select-O-Speed as well. To my knowledge, they are few and far between, but they are still out there and I've ben told not to sell it, etc. but to keep it and possibly restore it due to their rarity.
