Does anyone have a Fergie picture in the photo section that's painted with NAPA Gray 99L3740 paint?

Thanks,

Ken

Yeah. I do. Painting ain't my biggest suit. In fact, I'm not sure I have any strong suits, but search for Phil and you probably can find it. It's great paint. I followed the NAPA instructions on hardener and thinner very carefully. The tractor is in use, not really a trailer queen, although I have carried it to a show or two. The paint, hardener, and thinner for whole tractor was about $175, not cheap, but it is holding up very well, takes a lot to scratch it. And I think the color is good.

Phil-

Thanks, it looks great. I have a '53 TO30 too. It's primered right now, and I already bought the paint, so I was just curious as to what it is going to look like. Of course I will have to wait until about May to paint it when the weather gets warm. My Dad is the painting expert and he is going to do the honors while I take the photos.
Can't wait!

Ken

After it ages a little it will lighten up. When you first shoot it, the color will seem a little dark. I tried to shoot it lightly, let it get tacky, then shoot it again, etc. The paint went on well, and as I said, it is holding well even with me working the tractor some. The lady in the pic is my step daughter, and she has her own farm, so I lend her a tractor now and then for mowing.
