TEA/D 20 engine data needed urgently!

1.Crankshaft main bearing journal diameters (also undersizes) and the correct bearing clearance.

2. Crankshaft big-end bearing journal diameters (also undersizes) and bearing clearance.

3. Piston ring data (end-gap, groove measures)

4. Cylinder liner height measured from the block.

5. Piston-liner clearance

This info would be of great help!

The Vapormatic catalog lists the following info for the Standard series engines in the TEA/TED/TED20VO group:

Crank pin (big end) dia 52.987 - 52.999

Small end bush reamed to 22.22 - 22.23

No bearing insert clearances listed.

Piston ring end gap 0.254 - 0.381
No groove measures

Overall cylinder liner height 171.450
Inside dia 85 (TEA20 = 80)
No OD., so no figure for liner/piston clearance.

Bearing and piston/liner clearance are generally similar for most gas engines in that size range, so if someone else doesn't have specific data for the Standard, you may be able to transfer.
