Has anyone any experiance with the superior brand of front end loader? This is a pipe loader with a trip bucket. A tag on the loader says superior 100. I found one that is on a junked tea 20. Although the tracter is in terrible condition, the loader is in very good shape, looks almost unused. Also, what was Harry thinking on the hydraulic system? There are four pressure ports on the case, but not a single return!!! Also, soon as the 3 point hitch is all the way up, you loose the pressure. I understand the purpose of that feature when you have an implement on the back but it makes the pressure take of points useless unless you chain the arms down. That feature in itself seems very un-ferguson. Does anyone have an idea of the value of the loader? Thanks for any help.

I recently installed a Freeman loader on my tractor. It was hooked up on the right bottom port. This was the way it was hooked up on the Ferguson tractor it was on before, and like you said no good return port. I don't think they ever meant for these to be used in this way but many have and had no problems with it. I have studied this in detail and talked with a man about how he had put a return line on his and it returned through the fill fitting on top and it sounds like it would work fine. I don't "chain" my arms down I have an attachment that holds the arms in place instead and that way the paint is not scratched up. A man by the name of Big Dean showed me this and it works great. I hope to attach a hydraulic pump to the engine and not drive it through the front end but by another means so that will give me "live" hydraulics on my loader. My cousin used a superior loader on an NAA for years and it was fine. It should work for you ok. I hope this helps. Shawn
