HELP!!Can someone discuss the way the brakes are to work and the proper settings.You press on the right and I see the left pedel comes up and I'd like to know what the factory had in mind.

Dave, The TO-30 has 3 brake pedals. The left turning, the right turning and the main brake pedal which operates both the brakes together. If you step on the main pedal on the right side the pedal will come up on the left side. There is a cam in the brake drum that operates the brakes in both the up and down pedal position. In the middle the brake is off.Does that help any or did I totally confuse you?

I have recently replaced brakes on my TO-30 tractor but the pedals are still slack ,but the brakeshoes are set up right as far as I can tell.I think the linkage needs to be adjusted but I do not know how .Can anyone help.
