I have a 1947 TE-20. It is red,and I wondered if they were all grey. I see that yours is also red,so maybe they came from the factory in red. Are you sure yours is a TO and not a TE?

Wow, Great find!!
Looks like an early model.Your lucky to have a grill with a good bottom. The serial number tag is behind the steering columb on top. Keep us updated on the project and Good Luck.

keep us all updated with pics as you go along. arent these old fergies just great.my grandpa had one my dad had a couple.i bought one from dad about 6yrs ago and use it almost everyday i have really put mine through some tough work from skidding logs hauling manure you name and we do it. what really surprises me is how much power for no bigger than they are they are really amazing little tractors. i dont think they can make one any better.it takes a certain kind of people to appreciate these tractors its good to see people out there like you.

It is now running, as the engine was not siezed. All it took was points, condenser, plugs and wires plus a little wiring for the ignition etc... It now has a new rear wheel and 4 new tires. I searched until I found the original single rib tires for the front. They cost me about twice as much as tri-rib tires but I sure like the way they look.
