Padded Seat Which One To Buy, Me Arse Is Sore?

The Drizler's legs are long and I have trouble with the tendons getting pulled when plowing ect. I have had the machine 6 years and I guess I use it at least 3 times a week all year around. What brand / type of aftermarket seat has anyone used to improve their machine. In my case the OEM TO-20 seat is too short causing my legs to be bunched up which is really painful using the clutch a lot. Every time I let out the clutch I get a shock like sensation up my leg. I'm only 46 so can't be in so sad a shape just too tall. Any ideas ? thanx

I used that hemeroid pan seat for years & went to a seat with a back. I am also a tall person & my clutch knee use to burn after a short while of running. The back seems to give my lower back more support & the knee don't burn so much. As for the age I'm only 1 year older & gots artheritis. It's how you treated your body the first 45 years not our age. I painted & saved the pan seat for whatever reason. Play safe.

When you flex the leg to let the clutch out you are stretching the sciatic nerve. I bet you have a herniated disc. You should see your Doctor for a proper exam.

Naw my backs ok its just that its like driving the car with an unadjustable seat, everything is too close to begin with. I have been building an airstrip so the thing is getting used to death. The leg never bothers me anytime otherwise, just doing the clutch as I am hunched up and I feel it right from the start. I gotta get further away. I saw a seat assembly for general use that has a set of semi wrap around arms for $100 + shipping. It might need a tad of welding for the right framing but should do the trick.

To TALL? Well I am to SHORT but I fit mine and I am 5' 5" tall and wonderd what a tall person would feel like driving it. You could make a box steel adapter and bolt your seat to it, and your adapter to the tractor and set the seat where it feels the best. The Delux is the seat I have and it is nice for comfort. Space it up and back and this way it can stay stock. Mark H.
