Old Ferguson Cord Wood Saw!?!?

I seen this big 24-30 inch saw blade sitting so I stopped to take a look! Wow it was a Ferguson A-LO-20 Cord Wood Saw. This saw has a bolt on PTO Pulley assembly with another pulley on a shaft with a belt between them to drive it with and spin the Saw Blade. The unit is gray has a plate that says Ferguson A-LO-20 #3208. Their is a 3-point set/up to put it on the back of the tractor and a hinged shelf with wood bolted on it to hold the wood still when you swing it into the blade. The blade has a Black Guard over the top and the saw blade is sharp. The paint is original and is not rusty. What is something like this worth and are they hard to fine? When did Ferguson make these? I have never seen one befor and have a chance to buy it. What would be a fair price to pay? Has anyone seen one befor and would they work for cutting wood or is this something a Tractor Buff would want for show purposes only? Any help would be nice on this. Any comments? Is their a place I could see apicture of a complete one to make sure it is all there. Thanks, Mark H. PS Is this what they call it?

We have had one for our TO-30 since it was new. We have used to cut everything including railroad ties. It saves a ton of wear and tear on our chainsaws. If you keep the blade sharp it is one of the best wood cutters you can get. Hope to get a pic of it out there soon.

The 2 I have seen at auction went for 250.00 each.They were both in good shape.The belt pulley alone is worth 50 to 100 dollars. A dearborn saw (same as the ferguson)went for 235 on ebay early this week .If you can get I cheap grab it.Just my two pennys.

I bought it for $200.00 showed it to Jim and he said he had been looking for one for years, so I sold it befor I got it off the truck for $275.00. Now I will haft to look for something else made for the Ferguson. Mark H.
