Put my new regulator on fergy 30 and it is running great. Have rust in the tank and read someone wrote about some kind of cleaner for it. Must be a simple answer and do not intend to take off tank.. Guess just keep cleaning the bowl. My dad says they no longer make real plow shears for our little two bottom plow. only "throw away types"? is that true. find I like to plow!!

Hello; Rust in your tank, It is not hard to take off the tank to clean out. You unbolt the 4-bolts holding it down and disconect the fuel line from it. Take the tank and slosh it around real good and turn it upside down over a 5 gal. bucket and let the rust come out. Pour more gas in and do it several times and you will get most of it out. Unscrew the strainer from the bottom and put some more gas in and let it drain and you should be good. If you don't do this your tractor will keep stalling due to rust you need to get it out. Walking back from the field to get tools to fix it is a lot more trouble then washing the tank out. Get a lot of rust in the carb and you will haft to tear it apart and that could cost you money. It is best to just clean the tank befor it cause problems that cost lots of money to fix. Mark H.

Depends on the plow. Get the numbers off back of the moldboard and the shares and get model off the plate (if it has one). Post all that on Implement Board, and likely you will get some good replies. Dealers have some old stuff sitting on shelves and you might find stuff that way. Ky-Tenn Tractor parts (you can look them up on the web) have some plow parts.
