I`v noticed that my hub are wider on the middle, than in the ends, should it be like this?????

Me too! I just bought a spare axle assembly and when I sat it next to my TO-30 front end I noticed that my hubs (caps over the bearings) had 3-raised rectangular parts on the cap (like knock offs) and were about 3 inches in dia. the front end I bought has bearing caps like you would see on a car. I do know it was a little older front end 1950? But the one on my tractor is Ferguson it is just different! Is this a up/grade or from a TO-35?? Don't know, anyone have a idea? Mark H.

Im not that good i English..... ..
I mean the bowed Steel plate above the engine...., thats attached right benithe the Radiator and rests on the dash, it`s supposed to shield from the weather?

Im not Stupid, but dont know the english word for it, and didnt catch the connection with the speare axle.....

Hello; A hub to me is the part that holds the wheel on. And I thought thats what you ment and I was asking about my hub too. I was not able to answer your question. I hoped some one could answer mine and yours too. I am not sure what part you mean. Do you mean the radiator shourd around the fan blade? that has a bowed shape and is used to help air go through the radiator. If not I do not know and maybe someone else dose. Mark H.

I read it again and are you talking about the Hood? That is above the engine and petrol tank. If you are what kind of tractor do you have? Not sure I can help. Mark H.

SORRY Mark H....
It was Too lait at night when i wrote this (This too 02.29 AM), and i really ment the HOOD.
I have A 1950 TEA Thats under restauration, and i thoght it was strange that the HOOD was wider at the middle, (about 2" wider) from the front and end..... should it really be like this Any ideas?????

I will haft to take a close look at my TO-30 hood tommorrow I belive they are the same except for the sides. But I bet there is someone out there that knows for sure. Mark H.
