Friends,

I replaced the wiring harness on my T0-20 a year or two ago. Looking at it today, it looks like there are places where the insulation is gone. Periodically I remove a nest of field mice- or maybe squirrels. The tractor sits outside under a tarp tent.Is there anything I can put on the wires to keep them from being nibbled?

Thanks

Frank

Put some moth balls in strategic spots. They'll keep the mice away, and you don't have to worry about poisoning your pets. it works every time. I've never know mothballs to fail!

Good luck!!

Rich

Nice cat, but I sure do like that seat he is guarding. I have been thinking about changing mine for some time now since the pan seat is a pain in the &&%&*. How do you have that mounted and what model is it?

MICE!!! YES they are a problem espcially during the winter!! Those little B******S can do some damage for their size!! I have found that if you put some De/Con Rat Posion the kind that is in the little box near the place you want to protect they will go for the poison first!! Then they will DIE!! You haft to make sure your dogs and cats can't get to it or they will TOO! I had them build a nest on my intake manifold in my Van once and I hadn't started it for a while and when I did the nest caught on fire and burned up a lot of Smog related plastic tubes to my van!! That was a project to fix! Now if I don't start something for a while I look first it is easier than the problems that can happen! I put one box each year in my pump house to because they CHEWED wires and got into my control box throught a small hole and died inside it and costed me a new control box and no water for a few days waiting for parts to come!! So I HATE MICE NOW!! Good luck stay on top of them IT IS WAR!!! Mark H.
