Jim W. Another question. I understand what your saying about blocking the cross passageway and taking hydraulic pressure off the left side to my diverter valve. My question is, I come of the left hand hydraulic port, into my diverter valve. Now I can go either to the right hand hydraulic port for normal 3 point operation or into my two way open center valve. I will need a return port for hydraulic flow when the two way valve is in the neutral position. Why counldn't I just drill and tap a 3/8 pipe through the cast housing into the hydraulic reservoir?

I guess you could do that alright. One thing to note - I mixed up right and left in my initial description. So you need to tap hydraulic pressure at the RIGHT side, which is the side where the vertical tube from the pump is mounted.
As far as the fluid returning, there is a good spot directly opposite where the control lever goes, but you might want to use a weld-on fitting (looks like a flange) so as to get more threads. The thing with that though is that you need to drill a hole about an inch in diameter.
Some people have mounted a return line fitting in the filler plug near the gearshift lever.

Anybody! How do you attach pictures to messages? I have seen it done over on the 2N/9N/8N board.

Nice Picture Jim W. Now to plug the horizontal oil passageway between the oil outlet to the internal cylinder and the oil entrance from the pump would you just run a tap in past the oil pressure entrance?

On my TO-30 there is a plug on the upper right hand corner of the transmison housing. If you have one on the 20 I think you could run a return line to there. Will this work. I have been thinking along the same line my self. Seems that if somethiong like this would work it would have been tried a long time ago. But I think you are still going to have to chain the lift arms down. Keep us posted on how it works. I may try something like that later this winter.

I did see the optional image URL, but what's the format of what you put there? Do I not still have to have the picture on a website anyway? I tried putting in the address of the picture on my C drive but that didn't work.

Your picture have to be on a website. All you have to do is put the address there. I go to the site, copy the site address then paste it in the optional image URL. Hope this helps. I am sure there are others that can tell you beter.
