I mounted a Massey loader on my TO-35. It will lift just fine with a light load (under 100 lbs.), but will not lift much more than that. I'm wondering if the hydraulic pump is really that weak (the 3 pt works great) or if I will have to mount a front pump. If so, is there an aftermarket one available or will I have to search one down for it.

It's a Massey-Ferguson Model 32 trip loader. Tube frame, but pretty heavy duty. You would not want to move it around by hand! I had to search down the transmission mounted control levers for it and build the rear mounts as they were missing. My tractor is also a '57 TO-35 . My suggestion would be to make sure what ever loader you go with, be sure you have ALL the brackets, valves and mounts that it requires with it or be prepared to do a lot of scrounging around to find them! Other than that it was an easy setup. Oh, one other thing, I have been advised that the only way to make the loader work to it's potential is to have a front mounted pump for it. Possibly why mine doesn't lift more than about 100 lbs.!
