My Fergie is white underneath its coat of grey. I've checked all over and white was definitely the original colour (except one fender, which has grey under the white).
Has anyone else seen this? If it wwas done to a customer spec, I am wondering who the original customer could have been.
Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim, I have a white/off-white TEA-20. Is your engine a Standard? I'm trying to find out more about my tractor also. Maybe we can trade info.
Tim

Hi Tim,
Mine does have a Standard engine (hence the "A"). Its serial number is somewhat obliterated but it looks like it may be 209xxx, making it a '52. In all respects besides colour, including having the air intake on the dashboard, it looks the same as my other '52 TEA, serial number 273833. I have asked this question in several forums but so far yours is the first response I've had from someone else whose tractor is this colour. Others have said that other colours were produced though, on special order (for example the army might order green). Mine has been painted over but someday if I paint it I'm thinking of going back to the off-white. How's it look? Got a picture?
Jim
