to35 ferguson 6volt positive ground not charging battery. i replaced voltage regulator and generator and it will not charge battery. any suggestions what i could do next.

My Dad purchased a Ferguson TO-35 in 1953(new). The colors were Gray hood, fenders and wheels. The rest of the tractor was a green a little darker than a JD. I woould like any info on this. My mother sold it without letting me no 2 yr ago. It was in excellant condition.

Randy, looks like you have covered most everything. Check the generator to make sure all the brushes are in contact with the armature. I bought a reman. once from NAPA and they had never released one of the brushes. And.. did you polarize the regulator? If so check all connections to make sure they are tight. Let me know what you found.
