After taking my time, I just located a good restoration project. I cannot find the serial number listed within the Ferguson site. Can anyone help me, the serial numger listed right above the stering wheel in the original plate is,, TO 42705.
Also by chance it has a loader and only a portion the name plate is attached, but the lower part says F500,, Any clues ?
Thanks much to all, I enjoy this site alot.

Cheers,
Greg

Greg - the problem with the SN lists on this site is that they give only the starting number for any particular year. You have a 1951 TO-20, I believe. You might also look at the link listed below for some good information. Click on "Tractors."

Good luck on your project.

Dennis, Thanks, here is some more confusing things. Under the seat on the right side, the model is marked "TO 4024" and stamped around the block it is marked "TO 3551". What is going on here ?

Hi Greg

Your serial number seems to be wrong. The TO-20 is listed up to around TO39000. The TO-30 starts at TO60000. Recheck you number,It could be TE42705. The numbers TO 4024 and 3551 are part numbers.

Good Luck

Thanks for the follow up. The serial # is clearly, TO 42705. I saw at the bottom of the serial plate that this Fergy was made in Detroit. Why can,t the number be found in the lists shown at the left ?
Thanks once again,
Greg
