Upon inspection through the side covers I could not visually see any oil spray coming from the hyd. pump or oil tube so I decided to drop the pump for further inspection. I'm looking for some tips on what to look for i.e relief valve operation, cylinder operation, disassembly/assembly, etc. One thing I did notice was the deflector on the relief valve, it appeared to be interfering with the control valve operation somewhat. Question, what direction should the tips on the arm that connects the control valve to the lifter forks be - up or down? Also, how do the caps come off the valve cylinders? They seem to be pressed in. Any help is appreciated.
