Running standard equipment of a TE20 PTO

I have had my trust worthy TE20 for years, it's a true freind! However, this weeked I discovered that all modern equipment, (designed to run of a PTO) will not fit onto my old fergie shaft. Apparantly the size of PTO shaft's has been standard for the last 40 years, my 1948 fergie shaft is however to small to run some knew equipment I wish to bue.
Is there some easy adaptor that I can fit onto my fergie inorder to run standard equipment? How do you gues run modern machinery of a fergie PTO?
Any help and advice would my greatly welcomed,

Dave,
You might want to think about getting an ORC (Over Riding Coupler)with a 1 1/8" input and a 1 3/8" output.
I leave it on all the time and as of yet, it hasn't interfered with anything I've done, but has proved invaluable when I'm mowing. Without it, when you push the brake and clutch in, the inertia from the mower pushes the tractor forward via the pto for a good 8 to 10 feet. I was lucky, I only took out some field fencing. There have been some real horror stories regarding this. With the ORC, when you declutch and brake, the mechanism allows everything to free wheel and you have the control you need.

I have tried en extensjon on my 1951 TEA20 and it became a mess. the extensjon broke and twisted so i could not get off the rest to change it,
however i found a spare shop (in Norway) who had a "Replacement pto" in 1 3/8
