What Price for a TO35

I am thinking of buying a TO35. It has been cleened up and painted but no real restoration done. It starts rigt up and seems to work fine. It has a gas engine and the 3 pt hitch and PTO work. He's asking $3000.00. I Live near Denver and tractor prices around here have been going up as fast as the housing market. He also has a 54 Ford 860 in the same condition for $4500.00. Any ideas?

On the TO-35, I think $3000 isn't too bad of a price for it. If it runs well and the PTO, and hydraulics function, and it has a decent paint job than that doesn't sound bad at all. After rebuilding an engine for a '55 TO-35, I know how expensive these things are.
