How on earth do the rear hydraulics on my TE20 work

I can not for the life of me understand how the rear hydralic ram, (for the rear lift arms) works.
I can see the pump at the bottom of housing but there seems to be no pipe transmitting the fluid to the ram. The ram is at the top and is not even emersed in oil so how on earth is its oil supplied if not via a pipe? Also where do you add the oil to this part of the tractor, is it through the plug be the gear lever or is that for the gearbox only?
Any help is much appreciated, Iam really confussed!

The feed pipe from the pump to the ram comes off the right/front corner of the pump. The transmission filler is the same for the entire differential/tranny/pump system. I'd strongly advise you to get yourself an owners manual for your tractor. They are available on the YT site. Check the following site:
