Question regarding the compatability of TED/TEA20 Hydraulics

The hydraulics on my TED20 are not working at all. Fortunattley I have a TEA20 which I have always used to salvage parts. I thought that the easiest option would be to remove the intire plate, that the seat is mounted onto (including the lifting arms and hydraulic control lever) on both tractors and simply swap them over. having removed all the bolts it is loose and I can jiggle it arround but something is holding it in place. I removed the inspection plate that the PTO leaver runs through to get a closer look and can clearly see that there are a series of pins holding the rods that are conected to the hydraulic control arm in place. I have no manual and although are confident of being able to take it appart are not so sure that I will be able to reinstall all the pins correctly.
How difficult is the job?
Are the hydraulics even compatable on both these tractors?
Also what is the correct type of oil for this part of the tractor?

Any help would be greatly appreciated and if anyone would be prepared to fax/email me a few pages from a manual on this topic that would be supurb,
Many thanks
Mike

You have to take the two small pins out to get the contol forks apart and when you put it back together make sure it does not bind up the top forks should be back against the transmission case when you put the lower pins in otherwise it will jam up when you go to use it. also there is a spring that fastens to the front of the lift cylinder you have to take off. I have a copy of a shop manual for 16.00 US If you paid by paypal you would have it on about Thursday by airmail. regards
