Hello,
I was changing the oil in my TO-20 and when I tried to get the "hand hole cover" off to get to the filter,it would not drop out. Is there a trick to getting this off? The bolt disconnected
and would just keep spinning. Don't want to pry and break anything!
Thanks In Advance
Jack

Thanks for the reply John. I found out that the plug on the bottom was frozen in the center piece.
Had to use a set of robopliers to hold the rod and then it all came lose. I tightened the rod real good when everything was reinstalled.

You should be able to drop it off. Try to give it a little help.

I have a T0-20 and with the oil and filter change, is there a gasket between the round plate and oil pan. Can't seem to find the right filter and combination to stop the oil from leaking around the bottom plate. Just installed a new oil pan and new plate. The oil pan gasket set didn't have the gasket for the round plate. Any ideas? The length of the filter makes a difference on how the plate fits the pan.
