TO-35 temp. guage

I have put two new TISCO temp. guages on my TO35 in the last year. The second one quit this weekend.
Does anyone have any ideas? Is something causing this or have I just got two bad guages in a row?
Is there a better supplier?
I appreciate all your help.

Sorry I don't have any info to contribute re: the
temp gages going bad but I also own a TO-35 and
try as I may (several occasions), I can't get the
nut loose that holds the sensor tubing out of the
block. How did you remove yours?

Roger,
I got my tractor warmed up good then cut the cable off so I could get a six point socket on it so I wouldn't strip it. That worked for me.
I received an email that advised me to buy a temp guage from NAPA. Said they were much better.
