TO-30 ramblings.....

I'm posting fro my dad, he has a TO-30 and has a couple of questions:

1. How do you determine the year od the tractor?

2. Anybody know of a good parts place? Central to South Central US? We're in Amarillo, Tx.

Reason for #2 is that 2 weeks ago his TO-30 snapped an axle...*pow*...wobble wobble wobble.

Anybody know if Gap Tractor Parts has Ferguson stuff?

Hey James! How did your dad bust the axle? Pull-starting the John Deere again, wasn't he? Try Sturgeon's Corners in Helena OK: (800)345-4456 or FAX (405)852-3245. Ask for Lon. Another Ferguson pilot recommended this outfit to me, and I have ordered a few parts. Their prices are good and service is fast. Good luck!

Question #1: What year was Dad's tractor made?

Answer: You can get a list of Ferguson serial numbers and their years of manufacture from www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Downs/9828/
I'll post the link at the end of this message.

but since the TO-30 was only made for four years, I'll post the information here:

1951 60001 - 72679
1952 72680 - 108644
1953 108645 - 125958
1954 125959 - 140000
