I Just bought this TO30. The hydrolics work fine other than when I have an implement attached, and in the up possition the tractor bounces. Is this normal?

my TO-20 did the same thing until i added
some weight on the front end.

I think the T0-20 is a little light in the front. I have 80 kg (176 lbs) of Belarus suitcase weights on the front fender and about 20 feet(30 lbs) of heavy logging chain. I don't disregard the advice in the other posts, but my tractor wants to hop a little especially with a 5 foot bush hog on the back and I think it is mechanicall intact.

On the 35's - basically the same system - thishop is often caused by a loose master spring on the top link attach point.

If the bracket moves in and out more than 1/16", it's loose enough to activate the internal draft feedback system and cause the hopping.

Adjusting may involve sutting and re-welding (or replacing) the long bolt - they are usually rusted solid. Not expensive - $25 or so US.

If the lift is bouncing to stay in the full up position , then you probably have a weak pressure relief valve .

Might want to check the archives here or or the N-Board ( the hydraulics are pretty much the same as an N )

I would say it had to do with the air pressure in the tires and or the type of tires.
