My friend needs part #TO-8603 for his TO-30. Does anyone know where he could find one? It is the piece that the temperature sensor fits on to and it also has the govenor shaft mounted to it.

Joe,

I've looked all through my parts manual & have decided that the TO-8603 must be a casting number. Did that come straight off the part? Can you be more descriptive? How big is it, is it mounted on the right side of the motor at the front? etc, etc.

TO 8603, according to my Ferguson Tractor Parts Book No. 693041M1, was an original part number for the "Water Outlet Elbow". The part number was changed to 181 635 M1. It is a casting & the 8603 # is on my '52. It's also the front mount for the fuel tank. You should find one at a salvage yard, as mentioned.
