Pto shaft anybody

At last I an getting a new pto shaft for my TO-2O. Could have got a used one 1 1/8 for $100.00 then had to buy the seal and bearing another $35.00. A new 1 1/8 was (you better be setting down) $268.00 plus seal and bearing. Am up gradeing to 1 3/8 out of the box bolt it on and go for $158.00. Just thought I would pass this on to you all.

It's just as well. The 1 1/8 to 1 3/8 adapters seem to shred on a semi-regular basis anyway. Also, when I went looking for a 1 1/8" input ORC, my local farm supply house was always out, but had a plethora of 1 3/8". If it's a matter of having a "correct" tractor, you can always wait for a deal to come along and then keep it for special occasions, like a show, etc.
All that said, $268.00 plus seal and bearing still seems like twice what I seem to remember them for.
