My '52 to 30 starts fine but only runs for a few min. Acts like it's out of gas. Have to keep the choke on.
Any ideas? Thank,
Jerry

You have a plugged up fuel line. I would start by draining the gas tank and unscrewing the sediment
bowl from the tank. Clean the screens and the pick up tubes that were up in the tank. Also where the fuel line goes into the carb, unscrew the block the line is screwed into. There is a filter there that you can clean. It could also be a stuck float or dirt on the needle valve inside the carb. Most times it is a clogged fuel system from the rust that forms in the tank. You can check by unscrewing the fuel line at the carb. You should have a strong stream of gas there when you open the sediment bowl valve.
