serial # above steering wheel is 59923, motor is Z129-A-600 serial number 358018. I believe this to be a to20 1951? but that means they would have had to make over 20,000 of these for this to be true.Next the pattent plate states 6/6/50.The to30 first serial number they tell me started with 60001 that means after mine there was anouther 77 made. Could any have had the Z129 put in them I am led to believe this tractor never had a motor change and is orginal. The one thing I did notice is the air cleaner does not take air in through the dash but has the filter on top of the canister.The to30 took in air through the dash.

I have a to30. Rear wheels leaked oil badly. Mechanic installed new seals on the axle hubs but advised not to replace the seal inside the axle housing. Other "mechanics" and friends say that is questionable advice. I think so too, but would like some input please, before I put it all together. I would appreciate any help.

Try asking the guys at the H.Ferguson club, they may have more info. My guess is the tractor is one involved in the changeover from TO20 to TO30.

Gene - it is quite possible that someone in the past has installed a Z129 engine in your tractor. It will fit as it essentially the same engine with simply a larger bore.

it's got a 20 number but should have a z120. Never heard of a 20 with a z129 but I guess anythings possible. Look at his link for the numbers.

Sounds like a TO-20 to me since mine has simialr numbers
