My father passed away a few years ago and left me with a MF35 he used for mowing and general farm upkeep. It is a 1955, is red and grey, and has a Z-134 Continental Gas Engine. I am planning to restore it as soon as I can find the time and parts. I am looking for a parts tractor, and have found a few TO-35's, but no MF-35's . My question is: Are the TO-35 and MF-35 the same basic tractor, similar to the Chevy and GMC Pick-ups? I know the TO-35 was grey and metallic green, but if they are mechanically similar that would help. My 83 year old Grandfather goes to tractor shows (he has 3 steam engines) and would like me to restore the Massey and go with him, so any help would be appreciated.
