Here is a message I sent to Zane Sherman about the Zane Thang.

'Zane, just a note to let you know how great the Zane Thang is! Got it all hooked up (the pictures are great), got my box blade on and lo and behold, it held it where I wanted it. It worked great on the bush hog too. You have given my Ferguson a new dimension in usefulness. Your product truly does what it says it will do.'

I have a TO-20. When I use my finish mower or landscape rake, they stay right behind the tractor. They never sway or drift. I don't seem to have any need for a Zane Thang. Am I just lucky, or am I missing something? I keep hearing you guys say how great it is, but I don't seem to need it. Any opinions?
Thanks, Rich.

Rich, the Zane Thang controls the height of the implement, not the side to side. You can set your implement to a certain height and it stays there. I have had trouble keeping my box blade and bush hog to the right height. The Zane Thang solves the problem.

I just recently purchased and installed a "Zane Thang", also. It was very easy to install (took me about 10 minutes) and works better then I had even hoped for. I use to use chains on my bush hog, and it was a real pain in the butt. Now I just set it and forget it!

It really is wonderful, isn't it? The only modification I would suggest is to put a thumbscrew (wingnut) on the bolt that attaches to the fingertip control so you don't need a wrench to go back to draft control.

Here is the link that contains the information about the Zane Thang. It is a product that allows a Ferguson to have position control.
