You know how we often get the question "What's my Tractor worth?"

And we all respond with...

What model? What year? Where is it located? etc.

I think we need to ask a new question that may affect the value the these old machines more than any of thoes other questions....

"How full is the gas tank?" :)

Jeff

Another question may be: "How far away is it?"

On the Cleveland news yesterday they found a station charging $4.19 for regular. I drive a full size Chev 4X4 with aux tanks. I figure about $200 bucks to fill it from empty. Thinking about parking that thing in the front yard and planting geraniums in the bed. Jack

Fill it with gas and park it in the yard then, when gas hits $5 start selling gas to your neighbors.

We did our ride last Saturday. (35miles or so) I do not have overdrive and I averaged 10 MPH and used just over 2 gal. so about 15 MPG also.

Mind has an overdrive, and wasn't running quite up to par, but I went on a tractor ride last year and got 15 mpg. I went last weekend on a 47 mile ride and got 15.1. Darned near as good as my truck at 17.
