The attached picture is how my tractor is now wired.I have never gotten a reading on my Amp meter. (I've tried two) I re-polorized the Generator. (neg. bat terminal to A Gen Terminal) I cleaned the paint off the Gen. Terminals to get good contacts. The Voltages were then recorded with the tractor running. Generator Terminal to Battery Terminal A to Pos. was 7.15V A to Ground was 7.15V --- confirming above F to Pos. was 3V A to F was 3V A to neg. was .8V F to neg. was .8V I have what looks like a D-R Gen. not the Lucus I am not at all sure I know what type of regulator I have. It has 3 terminals on it like the D-R. but I did not see the 4th terminal, though I did not take it off to look at the backside. (I used a mirror to examine) The B A and F terminals as shown in the sketch were hand written on the regulator. Thus I am not positive of the terminals. Also the Regulator does not have the mounting bolt pattern as shown in the Shop Service Manual (Fig 193 or there about) I may try and take it off/ apart this weekend to see what I have. I am thinking it is an issue with the regulator. As said below, it is probally not grounded at all right now. But according to my wireing and the Shop Service Manual Diagram, The generator Armiture terminal may not be hooked up correctly. It is going to the center terminal which may be the Load terminal. Nothing is going to the rear G-terminal. (if it is there) Thats what I have...
