TO30 Tire Question, will they fit?

TO30, 53 model as I recall. Rear tires are shot and need to be replaced. This is an upcoming project, but it would be nice if it would roll easier than it does now on two rear flats. It currently has 12.4 X 28's on it and I have run across a pair of used but better than what I have 14.4 X 28 for sale near me. I have not gone by to look at them yet, but wanted to know if they would fit before I did. I'm thinking they will fit, but thought I would ask the Fergie experts to be sure!
Thanks!

And the tyre beads will not seat in the rim recesses correctly, leaving the risk the tyres may roll off the rims.

Even if you get them on the rims, they may touch the fenders...?

Your original TO rims were 10" wide rims and had what we call today 11.2X28" tires. I know the 12.4's will fit the 10" rims, I doubt the 14.4's will fit, or be darn tough to get them mounted. But, I have never tried to mount 14.4's on 10" rims so can't say for sure.
If you have non-original wider rims, probably will fit.

George
